Improve the user interface to improve the customer experience, increase enquiries and requests for quotes.

I discussed the requirements of this project with the Business Owner and the sales team to find what they wanted to achieve.
I found that they wanted to make it easier for customers to obtain relevant and more specific product information. They also wanted customers to be able to obtain art templates and quick links to contact forms.
Firstly I decided the best way to add all of the info they required was tabs.
I went about establishing what tabs would be needed and how they could be displayed.
This content was added and is constantly being revised as per product development.
One form used was the “get a quote form”. This form also has a promo code field which is available for active deals. Many businesses make the mistake of simply using coupons to increase conversions. The bigger opportunity is to utilize them to also learn more about your customers’ behavior along the way. We create unique codes to be used through a variety of channels and then test different discount formats to maximize conversions based on real data (Anderson Schoenrock, ScanDigital).
All users who gave feedback agreed that this was both more informative and easier to begin communicating with Flagmakers staff.
The number of website enquiries that we received after the changes showed a significant improvement in the UI.
The owner of Flagmakers was very happy with the results and he continues to consider how UX design can improve his site.
